| The Cursed karaoke song | | There was this certain song that was banned in many Karaoke bars in the Philippines because it always start some fatal fights, usually the one who butchered the song got killed. He was either stabbed by a sharp object or shot by a pistol. The song I was talking about is "My way" by Frank Sinatra, 1st its just a urban Legend but now its much different. its always a news headline that someone gets killed after singing " my way" I thought the My Way killings only happens in the Phillippines but there was an incident about it in Vietnam. | |

We enjoy karaoke nights and I think that some people have better song choices than others. | Your Signature KARAOKE Song | | I'm quite certaun that most myLotters enjoy karaoke. I do.[em]lol[/em] Just yesterday, since there was nothing much to do here in the house, I did some serious karaoke-ing. LOL! Even if I can't hit the notes right, I just have to sing Chaka Khan's Through The Fire and Natalie Cole's Someone That I Used To Love.[em]whistle[/em] But if there's one song I consider my signature karaoke song, it's Julia Fordham's Love Moves In Mysterious Ways. I just love that song and everytime I sing it, I feel as if I'm singing it from the heart. I've mastered it so much that I sang it at my brother's wedding since his wife requested me to sing it. | | She thinks she so smart! | | So my 17 year old daughter... who by the way is deathly afraid to drive... got tired of waiting for us to go home from my mothers house (who lives right down the street from us about 8 or 9 houses).She had the keys in her hand and waved "bye" as she walked out the door... I kept singing my karaoke song.. my mom says "she's leaving!" I couldn't believe it.. she HATES to drive and refuses whenever go somewhere (she only has her permit) So she calls.. laughing. I told her she was grounded and hung up on her. The whole time I am laughing. Mind you I am not the least bit mad.. just shocked that she would do that. I figured out the BEST punishment EVER.
